PJ Hegarty has appointed Barry Dodd as Managing Director UK where he will oversee a business with a projected turnover of £110m this year.
Dodd joined PJ Hegarty in 1998 and played a key role in the successful launch of the UK business in 2010 with a focus on civil engineering and industrial projects.
Current and recent works include HS2, Sizewell C and Gatwick Airport as well as large private pharma projects.
Dodd said: “Having been part of PJ Hegarty for more than 25 years and involved in the growth of our UK business since its launch in 2010, it is a real privilege to take on the role of Managing Director for PJ Hegarty UK.
“We have built a strong reputation in the market by delivering complex projects safely, collaboratively and to a high standard. My focus now is on supporting our people, strengthening our client relationships, and continuing to grow the business in a way that reflects the values and ambition of PJ Hegarty.”
Company wide PJ Hegarty has more than 500 employees in Ireland and the UK with a revenue in excess of €500m in 2025.
The firm has has also appointed Maurice Killeen as Managing Director for Ireland.
